Hello Facepunch.
My name is Jack McKay, I am only 15 years of age, Yes, 15. I have been to the Russian Federation, Poland, Germany, Belgium, france, spain and morroco this year alone. Next year my planned holidays are Belgium with my Girflriend in January, Belgium again with my school for a WW1 tour, spain and Dubai.
My major regret is taking on all trips a £38.99 camera which is the worse camera in the world, I will not go into details.......
I travel alot, Sorry to bother you in any way but would you suggest this Camera?
Remember I do not intend to take profesional shots but I would like some amazing ones, Should I buY this camera?

Thankyou for your advice.

P.s: I apologize for my noobness.
A friendly word of advice is not to take those fujifilm superzoom camera's.
They seem atractive for what they offer in terms of specs, but their price is low for a reason.
You get what you pay for in this case. The pictures that come out of them are worser in comparison with other brands, cameracontrols aren't good (although this can be personal), and they even tend to overheat(!) sometimes.
If you want a lot of zoom, then you should look for a Panasonic or Canon superzoom. They might be a bit more expensive, but if you can afford to travel to all those countries, money shouldn't be a problem imho
Example of a better camera is this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-Lumix-14-1MP-Digital-Camera/dp/B003WOKU4W/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1323380021&sr=1-1
Or if you want a small (and good performing) travel zoom: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-Lumix-TZ20-Digital-Camera/dp/B004I1KOIK/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1323380162&sr=1-1
Although i don't know anything of the prices in the UK because i don't know any big camerastore there (why does FP say you are in the USA btw?), but it seems like a good price.

Yup, the FZ45 is one of the better superzoom camera's on the market so that will do fine.
This review might help you out with making a final decision, as it compares the camera with 2 other superzoom camera's on the market (the FZ100 and Canon SX30IS, which both do cost more). The verdict is that this camera is a very good value for money, and it will most certainly make some awesome pictures. The only thing about it that could be a bit bad is that the telephoto end (24x zoom is a huge range) is not that good, but any superzoom has that problem, so it isn't that bad.
I think this FZ45 is the best deal for a superzoom camera at the moment.
EDIT: forgot the link, here it is: http://www.cameralabs.com/reviews/Panasonic_Lumix_DMC_FZ40_FZ45/index.shtml

A 350D isn't that handy and versatile as a bridge camera, and it's outdated as hell too.
I know it could make some better images, but he does say he does not intend to make professional photo's.
So i think a superzoom would be more than enough for him as it is more easy when travelling too.
Although small, a 350D with a kit and telelens do require a lot more room than a bridgecamera like the panasonic he pointed out.

I cannot wait!
It would also be good to learn some of the basics of photography, too.
Having the user work with the camera, rather than the camera working around the user, will yield much better results.
You can only blame the camera for taking bad photos up to a certain point.

yes, quite, one qoute in-which comes to mind is 'A mechanic can never blame his tools'. Or something like that, I have forgotten.
But indeed I think I will be able to use this camera skillfully within a month of ownership, I am a very quick learner.
Here are some pictures I took with a 3.7Megapixel Camera phone and also a 7mp Coolpix camera and also a 11Mp Hitachi. (DO NOT, EVER, Buy any of the above, Surpisingly I got some amazing shots though):
