Computer crash-restarted, and now it's totally fucked.

~~~~~:siren:Error FIXED: Faulty RAM stick. Solve: Buy a new one:siren:~~~~~
Yeah, i must have blown a fucking ram stick playing Left 4 Dead :ssj: But i'm buying a new one soon, and an extra 1/2TB of HDD space.
To anyone who has similar problems like mine: Try checking your ram, take it all out, then test each individual RAM stick. the one that fails is faulty.
Heres my specs:
MOBO: Asus K8N-E Deluxe
CPU: AMD Athlon 64, 2400 MHZ
RAM: 2048 MB (Two 1GB Corsair RAM sticks.)
Video: ATI Radeon HD 3650 AGP
Now here's my story:
So, last night i was playing Left 4 Dead 2 on my computer, playing a game with two of my friends.
Note that my computer has been performing FLAWLESSLY for the past six months.
At ~10PM last night, in the middle of a horde of zombies, my computer randomly restarts, as though the reset button was pushed (but it wasn't). I thought little of it, and tried to play again. Didn't work (crashed immediately), so i rebooted my computer.
This time i could play Left 4 Dead 2 again, but no more than 90 seconds in, a random crash to desktop this time. So i got pissed off and turned my computer off, and went to bed (was getting bored anyhow)
TODAY, the very first time i boot my PC again, i get a generic windows crash on my antivirus core process. I tried gaming again, only to be greeted with a reboot-crash 4 minuites in.
But when my computer came back it was mortally wounded, Errors came up saying something about some registry values being corrupt, and the system had to restore them using backed-up copies (they were successful).
But on logging in, my WIN32 generic host process died, along witht he system recovered from a serious error dialogue, and my antivirus program was coming up with "%productid_50", opening the antivirus control only gave similar results (Buttons formerly labelled "Update" were coming up with "%value_##" too).
So i shut it down, and ran a kapersky antivirus, only to have that somehow crash too.
Now my BIOS is whining about the RAM failing R/W tests, but my RAM passed a memtest.
At this very moment my computer thinks it's only got 256MB of RAM, and my graphics card wasn't being detected for a while (it's working now, but wtf).
So, my computer is basically rooted. I have NO CLUE as to what is happening, other than a VIRUS, or my MOBO has conked. But as for virus, i have not downloaded anything other than the standard updates.
So whats wrong?
tl;dr My computer randomly restarted itself at 10pm last night and ever since then it's been shitting itself.
Update:
Well, now i tried running memtest again after re-seating my RAM. It came back 100% errors, but after rebooting it's resulting OK... WHAT THE FLYING SHIT. Possibly a memory controller failiure?
Sounds like your motherboard is pushing up daisies. A virus that causes BIOS errors would be very hard to do unless your antivirus is Norton or something (You have Kaspersky, so disregard). If you have the opportunity, you might want to test the RAM in a different computer to eliminate that variable.
(also it's my 1000th post, :v:)
Funny you said that, i swapped the RAM (only used one stick at a time) and found one of my sticks is totally fried. Guess i have to buy a new one...
Might get an extra HDD too...
(congrats on 1000th post)
