As reported by Anandtech, the A9 processor of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus were dual sourced from Samsung and a company called TSMC. The differences between these chips was not evident for some time as fans assumed the smaller 96mm² by Samsung would be the superior chip. Users are conducting tests and reporting the results via forums on Reddit and Mac Rumors which have resulted in the conclusion that the TSMC A9 has approximately 2 hours better battery performance than the Samsung.
If my history of galaxy phones are anything to go by, Samsung have a tendency to do shit with battery life.
If my history of galaxy phones are anything to go by, Samsung have a tendency to do shit with battery life.
I've had great battery life with my S1, S3, and Note4.
My s3's battery degraded to the point where it couldn't hold a charge anymore. My s5 seems to either last all day or last a few hours depending on usage/open apps.
Wouldn't surprise me if Samsung did it intentionally with how immature these companies are nowadays.
Samsung has quite a shitton to lose if it came out they did it intentionally.
Wouldn't surprise me if Samsung did it intentionally with how immature these companies are nowadays.
Different processes, different processors. There's nothing weird about this, and 2 hours can be both a lot or nothing depending on the task. Edit: Okay, it's apparently some kind of battery run down.
Haven't seen anything this bad since Nintendo sourced their 3DS screens from two different companies, and later it turned out one provided (very good) IPS panels while the other provided (washed out) TN ones. It's weird, with both companies having excellent build quality on their stuff, but how do you really catch this kinda thing during QA?
If my history of galaxy phones are anything to go by, Samsung have a tendency to do shit with battery life.
Their OS tends to be weighted down by a bunch of gimmicky apps, and running processes with many wakelocks. Just like with most stock phones, but Samsung has got to be the worse.
If my history of galaxy phones are anything to go by, Samsung have a tendency to do shit with battery life.
. off - topic there is a thread about galaxy or galaxy cluster but everyone thought it had to do with a galaxy phone anyone here have a link,.?
If my history of galaxy phones are anything to go by, Samsung have a tendency to do shit with battery life.
Has to do with their shitty bloatware eating through resources, not their hardware
I'm also quite sure that their UI designers are completely blind.
Holy shit we get it you don't like touchwiz.
