• Mouse doesn't work on mouse pad/glitches.

I have a Logitech g500 mouse and ever since the day i got it(2 months ago) it hasn't worked on a mouse pad. I have tried many different mouse pads but it seems to only work on my wood desk. It also freezes and to unfreeze it I have to click a lot or shake the mouse. I have cleaned the inside where the laser comes from but it still didn't fix it. I was just wondering if it could be a faulty mouse?
laser mice work best when not on a mousepad. i.e. a solid surface.
You could try some certain mouse pads that were made with laser mice in mind.
The mouse works on the back of the pad but it is rubbery to keep from slipping so it doesn't move very well. The main problem with the mouse is when I lift the mouse up to reposition it, it freezes. I'll see if I can get a new mouse pad from best buy or something. Thanks for the help.
Is it wireless? sounds like the battery is dieing
