Come on not this shit again
Please don't also ruin ArmA 3...
Please don't also ruin ArmA 3...
How would a mod that you don't like becoming popular ruin the game? You and all those who prefer vanilla can still play that
How would a mod that you don't like ruin the game? You and all those who prefer vanilla can still play that
It poisons the community to be honest. I know it sort of sounds "elitist" but i'm tired of seeing 90% wasteland servers. Now it (might) be even more except dayz servers, making it even harder to find a public server that isn't those two.
How would a mod that you don't like becoming popular ruin the game? We left ArmA 2 and went to the third game just to get rid of those people, DDOS is not an easy thing to withstand with simple server protection...
I hope the Arma 3 Sever Browser will have the ability to filter out the Servers. Like "Show everything except Dayz Server's". In Arma 2 you have to use an external Server browser to do such a thing.
Anyone else read the title as Zoombinis?

Just because you're a massive child and can't handle having some younger people playing the same game as you (because only grown ups can play video games!!!!!!!) doesn't mean the rest of us are. If DayZ ever fully comes to ArmA3 officially or not, I'll gladly accept it because dammit it's fun. [editline]29th July 2013[/editline]
It poisons the community to be honest. Once it's released, you'll start seeing communities on the scale of TAW migrating over.

And learn to show some respect towards others, it makes yourself look like a massive child.
Hackers and griefers existed way before DayZ and if it's a real problem maybe you should make your servers private...
Yes of course but they're are alot more now. We want people to join our publics games and decide if they wish to join, then they'll be able to play on our private events.
"The DayZ community has a massive scale of children" You were just whining about children
"The DayZ community has a massive scale of children" You were just whining about children
Because they are doing these attacks, I don't see your logic.
I just played DayZ yesterday with some friends for a few hours. Holy shit did that game get boring. I don't even understand how people play it. I literally fell asleep in my chair as my friends went into a store to find a can of soda. They were yelling at me to wake me up in skype.
ArmA 3 unfff. I haven't played DayZ but I've heard of it so many times.. People seem to really enjoy it.. Is it really that bad? Also ArmA 3 needs more planes.

It's still in development but the bugs are pretty much making it unplayable.
Because they are doing these attacks, I don't see your logic.
Oh, I thought you were referring to literal children. Regardless though, hackers in ArmA is nothing new and complaining about hackers who target DayZ shouldn't really effect you if you really dont play it [editline]29th July 2013[/editline]
There's no goal or anything, scavange supplies, kill zombies and bandits. You're just meant to find some friends and go do whatever. [editline]29th July 2013[/editline] I think a lot of people think of DayZ as a lot more than it was meant to be, having an endgame and things like that. It's like domination in a sense, you just go around having fun.

It's a military simulator. When I play online I sometimes have to wait 5-10 min for an escort chopper from the other side of the map to arrive. Most of it is because the map is fucking huge (225 km2), so you are mostly walking for a long time. Arma 2 (And it's mods) require a LOT of patience. But if you're into Military simulator's then it's fucking awesome.
^^^ This too Arma and its mods by extensions are not games you can just start playing and say "ok i want my fun now" It takes time and patience, and if you don't grant it either of those things then you're just not gonna have fun with it

I never asked for a goal I only criticised it's state when it comes to lack of features and un-fixed mechanics.
