So around Thanksgiving last year, I built my new computer and I put a 2GB stick of RAM in there. This is the RAM I bought: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148221
I planned to add another 2GB stick later. I bought the ram for $39.99 with free shipping and now its around $58 with shipping. Can I buy another stick of DDR3 1333 RAM from another brand? If so, do I have to take timing, CAS latency and voltage into account?
Not sure about the voltage, but the faster stick'll adjust itself to match the slower one.
You just need to make sure they have the same voltage.

You're really not going to save much by buying a cheaper stick. Just get the same one again.
Alright, I guess I'll just buy the same stick again. I thought DDR3 prices were going down, but now I guess they're rising again.
