• Computer wont start

So I'm coming to you guys via mobile, there's a horrible reason for this... my computer will not start up. I have no knowledge about hardware so bare with me. Anyways. Its an Intel idk what, and on the front I get a blinking red light on the front of my compiter when the power supply is plugged in, and a internel blinking green light. It wont boot up, the fans won't start, nothing happened except the lights. Please let me know if you can help, and sorry about any hard to read things. As I said I'm doing this by phone, just let me know if you need more information. Thanks.
Assuming you have a desktop computer: First try resetting your CMOS. There many youtube videos to show you how to do that. If unsuccessful: Try disconnecting hardware like RAM sticks, video card, any PCI cards, and harddrives until you can get your motherboard to POST. If your motherboard POSTS (beeps) OK, then either the hardware you removed is bad, or the particular slot the hardware resided in of the motherboard is bad. If your motherboard still doesn't POST, the problem is either your motherboard or PSU. Try the above and post the results. It'll help reveal the problem, the "problem" will probably need to be replaced. [editline]asdf[/editline] Oh and if you're using a laptop: you can attempt to remove RAM sticks to see if that enables it to POST, but otherwise you'll probably just have to get a new one.
You'll need at least 1 stick of RAM to POST, but keep trying each one separately.
Thank you guys! I'm on my computer right now and it's working! Except my E:\ hardrive or diskdrive or whatever it's called isn't there..:/ But I'm going to marked this as solved, once again, thank you guys:D
