I just got Oblivion and set it up, and when I'd updated it, I started it up for the first time. I then got an error telling me Magcore.DLL is missing, I was wondering what the hell to do.
You could just download it from a .dll file site, this would fix your problem. Not the best way to fix it though.

This worked, but a few other DLL were missing, and were quickly replaced, with help from the website.
Thanks
So I reinstalled Oblivion twice now!! - and this error keeps popping up, then I went to that dll download site, tried to replace the magcore dll with the original one that I have, but it didn't work as well as I got other dll missing errors - anyway, from microsoft's support site (http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-windows_programs/magcoredll-missing/808cb305-c984-4780-8690-1bcc8631ae) I understand that this might be a problem with a missing or corrupted dll file. I also understand from another support post (magcore dll missing) that even if you replace that dll file you need to 'reregister' it for Windows or something...any idea how to do that...?
Command prompt, type "regsvr32 magcore.dll" without quotation marks
