I don't know how to categorize this post, it's half way creative art, and half-way political, etc... So I think this belong in the right place to put this. I knew this would be about Pawel Kuczynski. Great artist. He shows up on my Tumblr dashboard about once a week.

A lot of these are extremely contrived and simplistic.

Well drawn but pretentious and dull.[/QUOTE] The political messages that he is sending seems more and more in line of the current depressing states of affairs that we live in our modern day society, when I look at his artwork, it remind me of the great depression artwork that I've seen in the past... each of these messages shows the current bad state of affairs that I've always been hearing about, from my father, from here on facepunch, and sometimes on facebook itself. I know action speaks louder then words, and these pictures speaks a political message, but like a famous saying goes "a picture speaks a thousand words". I am happy to see certain state of affairs like gay marriage and the legalization of weed is becoming more successful and people been fighting for it, however the opposite is happening as people fight against gay marriage because of their religious beliefs... then you start hearing the depressing words that "we are heading to the age where society has decayed and start to worship money and celebrities then society as a whole" echoing though very resistance families, my family as well.

I've never seen these before, but my reaction wasn't much beyond "that's kinda clever". It's just repetition of what everyone already says, it feels like.

It's probably the best metaphor for alcoholism I've ever seen. Whenever I see this one I imagine my mouth getting caught by a hook and it really hits me hard. Some of the political ones are interesting too. Most of them are just creative analogies, but they're different from the usual ones and they kind of give you a new perspective.
