I was about to ask if their content id bullshit is just as strict as it is on youtube. There's my answer, why would anyone want to stream under those conditions?

If you already make content for YT, then you'll be fine on YTG I would wager. For me my streams would end up being monetized from the start. So I'll probably do streaming on YT more.

I'm pretty sure this only counts for when streamers play music over the stream themselves and not just music from the game.

ContentID doesn't decide what is from music and what is from the game. If it finds it, it identifies it.

Aye, I tested this yesterday, playing some Killing Floor 2 and got copyright warnings from one of the songs that plays in the game.
