So a while back i believe uberslug posted a photo biography about his new computer that he built. It got me thinking that, well this is my first build ever. I'm very excited for this and i wanted to show you guys how every thing turned out, as well as some critiquing you could possibly give me. Thorough out the next few days ill be updating this thread with pictures through out the process.

First step on the road to completing this.
There are two more packages on the way still, one containing all the necessary parts, as well as one with just my mouse and CD drive. The main package should be here no later then thursday.
Nice start, good to see some work logs starting to crop up in here instead of the torrents of "help" threads.
So what's the full spec list? Oh and FYI, its called a work log not a "photo biography"
you better clean up all them cables

You're giving us your work progress, not the story of the PCs life.
This PC looks nice.

What GPU did you order in the end?

Just remember, you have to push HARD on the RAM
yeah i know, untill it locks in and the latches clip in.. my only main concern is on where to plug in the appropriate psu cords into

If it looks like it's supposed to fit, 99.9% of the time that's where it's supposed to go. One thing to watch out for is if one of the drives has two power connectors (some hard drives have both a molex and a SATA power connector.) Don't use both at the same time.
When you're going to put your motherboard in, install the CPU and RAM beforehand so you don't have to worry about breaking / stressing / shorting something out.

Yeah, its a lot easier to put the stuff on the MOBO before its in the case.
yeah i figured that, why im installing the ram and my hyper 212 first. Well my hard drive is in.. has 2 slots in the back. The both look like sat connectors to me?

Most new SATA hard drives don't have molex connectors so you don't have anything to fuss over then.

Smaller ones for SATA calbe. Bigger one is for SATA power
