I haven't posted any creative content in a while, so here's my latest project: What this is is a mockup of a webpage I intend to create. I recently (as in, a few days ago) started a clan called Project: Demolition with a friend. We have our own server, and already have recruited a few members. In a few months, we intend to organize a TF2 tournament; 2v2 single elimination. For more details, see the above content. FP, what do you think of my page design? Future changes: 1. Render two TF2 characters back to back with weapons (when Valve releases the TF2 character source) to replace the sniper 2. Change the "First Official Tournament" part of the banner (I'm unhappy with it... any suggestions?) [COMPLETE] UPDATE: **Changed "First Official Tournament" banner section; divided it into three separate hanging pieces I was also experimenting with various colorings of the three hanging sections: BLUE: BLACK (PERSONAL FAV.): --- Most current version: ... and for some reason, both img and media tags make my image appear slightly blurred. Check out http://www.truploader.com/uploads/190145tourney11.png if you want to see a more crisp version.
7 bucks to play a tournament? :( But really nice layout and font, the sniper looks a little edgy on the edges though.
7 bucks to play a tournament? :( But really nice layout and font, the sniper looks a little edgy on the edges though.
Too pricey? I've never done these things before. We just need to create enough revenue to be able to afford the prize and make a few extra bucks to afford our monthly server bill. [editline]12:51AM[/editline] Also, in regards to the edginess, see:
Future changes: 1. The third one is the most graphic.
stop bringing competitive gameplay to tf2 thank you
stop bringing competitive gameplay to tf2 thank you
Just because it's a tournament doesn't mean it has to be serious. in fact the most fun you can have is not playing properly in one.
You should take a higher resolution screenshot of the sniper, so you don't have to stretch it and make it look so jagged. Also, the black theme doesn't seem to fit with TF2.
stop bringing competitive gameplay to tf2 thank you
douche.

I intend to replace the sniper with a rendered and posed setup of two TF2 characters (I'm thinking Pyro and Demo) back to back, with their weapons out. HINT: They won't be jagged. The jaggedness was from HLMV. [editline]12:42PM[/editline] Oh, and thanks for the tip about the black theme; I think I'll prolly go with the blue one.
