They say Oreo bit Pelletier several times. The dog's owner wasn't injured.
Talk about a bad situation folks
what a dick
And this is why you don't take advice from Elaine Benes.
The dog was not killed thankfully, but I can see how a barking dog can drive someone to that point
People need to learn how to teach their dogs to shut the fuck up. I get tired of my brother's pug (despite how fucking cute she is) yapping all the god damn time.
People who let their dogs bark non-stop are the worst. Wonder why the guy went for strangling the dog rather that doing something that, you know, wouldn't get him a big fine or some shit.
New Hampshire. Live free or die!
3com111 was it you? At least the dog's still alive, thank goodness.
3com111 was it you? At least the dog's still alive, thank goodness.
wouldnt surprise me if that was him
Why didn't he just wear ear plugs or something?
Why didn't he just wear ear plugs or something?
Being forced to wear ear plugs in your own home is not an acceptable standard of living for a first world country. Why should everyone in the apartment building have to wear ear plugs because someone can't learn to fucking train their foul disgusting inbred socially inept useless rat-thing they call a dog?
And this is why you get a shock collar for you dog so it learns to be silent.
While I fully understand the frustration, and the other guy definitely should get some followup on how to fucking housetrain his dog, breaking into another man's house planning to strangle his dog? That's psychopath material right there.
why is all the nh news car crashes and animal attacks Its so sad
Nobody is outraged at how this guy tried to murder the dog just for being noisy. Now if someone tried to murder a baby that was crying all the time everyone would be outraged and call him a psychopath. But they are both living beings that someone loves the shit out of, and the emotional trauma of an owner losing their dog is on par with a parent losing their child. Doesn't that make both things just as sick? I still cry sometimes over losing my old dog because my insane bitch of a mother got him euthanized. He didn't misbehave, he didn't hurt a fly, he only barked when someone was acting suspicious outside our house. He was old but he didn't have any health problems, fresh as a puppy. I don't understand people.
And this is why you get a shock collar for you dog so it learns to be silent.
We get it, you're scared of dogs because you're a massive coward. Now quit advocating animal cruelty.
My neighbor has dogs, two rottweilers and I have 1 pekingese (Gramps dog.) Well, one day, my neighbor left for work or left somewhere and his dogs barked....and barked...and barked for about 3 hours. There dog barking was causing my dog to bark, I could get my dog to stop barking every now and then, yet she would start barking sooner or later. It was enough to drive me insane, I called animal patrol and they told me they really couldn't do anything about it. It made me really want to go over there and shut them up. Yet not really act on it. So yeah, I can see how it could drive someone insane. Luckily the next time I seen my neighbor, I talked to him about it and now he keeps them in his basement when he leaves.
So how would you train a dog, then? Pets NEED negative reinforcement to teach them not to do things.
Animal torture is not negative reinforcement, that is fucking your pet's mind up. A dog will feel punished enough just from you scolding it.

But ya know anyone that uses a shock collar must be a animal torturing masochist dog abuser right?

But I often fantasize about throwing my neighbors small dog against the wall to shut it up when it barks for 40-45minutes every morning at 7am.
So how would you train a dog, then? Pets NEED negative reinforcement to teach them not to do things.
You tell them "No barking" You don't fucking physically abuse them Did your parents teach you nothing about sympathy?
You know, I've had neighbors that try the whole "im just going to talk to my pet" thing, and they lost their animals to the animal control officers and had to pay massive fines. It's fine if your going to go about teaching your animal in this manner but you have to realize when to give up. My neighbors in question had a dog that barked for 10 hours a day, every day, for 4 months, finally everyone was fed up of their shitrat and the law got involved.
Well my dog doesn't bark like a retard because we say "No" sternly and stare her down when she's being inappropriate. If she's annoying our neighbours, she gets brought inside and doesn't get a treat. She doesn't do that anymore. Maybe they just didn't try and gave up c:
Maybe they just didn't try and gave up c:
Or there was one person in the house who just coddled the dog 24/7. Nothing fucks things up more when you're trying to train a dog than mixed messages.
You tell them "No barking" You don't fucking physically abuse them Did your parents teach you nothing about sympathy?
A light shock isn't abuse, jesus christ

But seriously though, dogs need to learn to shut the fuck up
