Florida Police urge #Justice4Trayvon crowd not to throw a temper-tantrum
Florida authorities have a message as the verdict in the George Zimmerman trial looms: raise your voice, not your hands.
Anticipating that the outcome of the very public, and racially-tinged, case is likely to disappoint one swath of the population or another, law enforcement agencies have set up a response plan.
Part of it is a public service announcement that the Broward County Sheriff's Office released this week.
Nice try but if Zimmerman walks some people will go fucking ballistic and try to riot.
The PSA is hilarious. As if they expect the #Justice4Trayvon people to go "Oh, rioting will get me arrested? Nevermind then!"

Idiots. I hope these loud voices do not impact the trial verdict in any way.
Some people hope there's riots. I hope the rioters get shot to death trying to hurt someone.
LA riots all over again.
I hope they get shot with rubber
[sp]rubber dildos that eli dies with[/sp]
[SUB][sp] The reason why that had to sound retarded is I don't want to get banned for abusing spoilers [/sp][/SUB]

I'd much rather there be no need for anybody to resort to violence in the first place.
"First of all, my client will never be safe, because there are a percentage of the population who are angry, they're upset, and they may well take it out on him," he said. "So, he'll never be safe."
Lol that's so sad, people are ridiculous.

No shit, what I mean is if it does come to violence, I hope the idiots get killed or hurt rather than innocent people.
Lol that's so sad, people are ridiculous.
Well Martin won't have to look over his shoulder, because he is dead, shot by that lawyers client. I don't think Zimmerman is guilty of second degree murder but maybe this isn't the best time to be playing the victim card.
[editline]10th July 2013[/editline]
Also I think people should be less mad at Zimmerman and more mad at the Sanford PD for not starting an investigation to begin with and also apparently having a history of race issues.

You seem like such a nice person.

"what is self defense???"
yea, zimmermans such a pussy, playing the victim while half of the nation is threatening to murder him

what is reading, I already said he wasn't guilty of the charges laid against him. and half the nation is exaggerating.

He caused his own death when he attacked a man who had concealed carry and put him in a situation where he felt his life was in danger.

My friend is a yard-boss for amtrak down in that area and on top of daily security briefings, his yard just got 5 "heavy security guards" to guard the trains for the time being. He said the day that the verdict comes out they're strapping all the trains in the yard together and just going north to Georiga for a few days. He is not thrilled about this verdict.

easy to say that when you're not the man on trial waiting to hear the verdict

I'm not saying those people are in the right I'm just saying that having your lawyer come out in the middle of the trial and try to play Zimmerman off as a victim is dumb and kind of callous.

He is a victim though, defending himself drew the ire of millions of people and the media completely vilified him for it as well. The guy had bounties on his head for crying out loud.

Okay, so you personally don't like the lawyer and hate Zimmerman because you still think he's guilty. Why post?

Well, we'll see what the verdict amounts to but, from my perspective, he's definitely a victim. The media slammed him, the public slammed him, people are threatening to riot and potentially murder others if he is found not guilty...that's an unimaginable amount of stress.

oh no im trapped in a thread full of people who can't read someone help

i agree CNN is doing nobody any favors by bringing Zimmerman's defense lawyer in on the discussion to talk about how sorry we should feel for Zimmerman.

Do you know how big half of America is.

Hmm, maybe people won't riot. If most of them are as stupid as ^, we have nothing to worry about.

over 1 kid lmao
fucking idiotic really... boohoo 1 kid died.
Yeah, I know its a serious thing, but tens of thousands of people die every day. What makes him special?
He is a victim though, defending himself drew the ire of millions of people and the media completely vilified him for it as well. The guy had bounties on his head for crying out loud.
I don't mind people pointing out those who want vigilante justice I just don't think it should be Zimmerman's lawyer.
Okay, so you personally don't like the lawyer and hate Zimmerman because you still think he's guilty. Why post?
I outright said I don't think he was guilty lmao

Some media slammed him. Fox News was in his corner from day one when almost nothing was known about the case. Conservative outlets in general supported it as another victory for concealed carry and SYG laws. And yeah again it sucks that people want to murder him and start riots if he is found not guilty by the legal system but again I don't think his lawyer should have done this. If Random Former Attorney Joe Bob came on CNN as an analyst and said that Zimmerman faced a future of being victimized no matter how this trial went down I wouldn't have a problem with it, but coming from his attorney it just seems callous. Imagine how family and friends of Martin feel.
LA riots all over again.
I'm pretty sure the Florida police will hust mow them down if they do tbh.
i don't care how many thousands of dollars of damage your riot causes, if your "movement" has a hashtag, you can't be taken seriously.
the florida cops here in lakeland don't mess around, and i'm not too stressed if there's riots even though I live in a predominately black neighborhood. i'll just have my pistol ready if shit does go down
