As long as it's optional, I don't see the problem.
Yeah, I couldn't read much about it, but it seems it's like a gamemode, or option, so it can't ruin the whole game.
The only feature i want is faking injuries.
Seems hugely gimmicky and/or something that won't actually be added.
I mean, unless they have a massive selection of pre-recorded lines, they'll have to get the announcers to record on the fly.

If it's not optional I can see this getting annoying fast.
Like what if the best guy on your team gets a real-life injury?
It won't make sense either for your players to get injuries when they didn't even play any in-game games.

PES 2012 has that. You press down on both analogues and your player falls down to fake a foul.
