Protests in Albuquerque against police.

The police keep repeating that it's an unlawful assembly, but it looks like most people are staying put. Riot police have gas masks.

Hey, an update since I attend UNM, the protesters have recently been tear gassed around UNM, prompting them to send out an emergency warning for all the students.

That's what this protest spawned from, along with APD's previous demonstrations of their willingness to kill people.

The assembly is unlawful if they're protesting outside where they reported they would protest. As the article says they did.

When they were by APD HQ, they were lawful. When they left there for other places, they became an unlawful assembly.
