[t]http://i.imgur.com/eAqjfCQ.png[/t] They are small so you have to zoom in to see them. Changing the codec or various other render settings doesn't seem to change it This only happens post render. I tried the QTDNTOT thread but got nothing meaningful.
Apparently, while this happens post-render, MSP doesn't render all videos like this. I just tried exporting just an image and it worked fine. I'll have to mess around with converting the footage. I'll post what works if I find anything, but for now I'm open for suggestions.
I did see this thread a few weeks ago but couldn't think of any causes. When you mention that you've tried a different codec, is this in relation to rendering or importing clips? It may be worth using different settings with your game capture software. I find that recordings from OBS usually work fine my Movie Studio 12 if OBS is configured correctly.
Rendering. When it comes to the codecs I CAN import, I'm limited for my options. All of my footage is in h.264, so I have to convert it. My recording software is very limited as to what I can encode in. Generally one of four things happen: -Handbrake crashes when trying to export to certain codecs -Vegas does not accept certain codecs whatsoever -Vegas accepts the footage, but glitched -Vegas accepts the footage, but has the problem above I haven't tried every option yet, but I haven't had the time to, and I did it a while ago so I don't really remember what codec did what.
Ok apparently someone down the line hates AMD's h.264 because NVidia's h.264 (tested on another machine) works just. fucking. fine. No conversions. No nothing. I am fucking flabbergasted.
