A 3.1 megapixel rear camera and a 0.3 megapixel front one
Wow, I didn't even know you could really use 0.3 megapixels..
man I wish dual sim cards was a thing here, I could throw away my second phone and just use my S5 instead of having one phone for work and a personal phone
Wow, I didn't even know you could really use 0.3 megapixels..
That's the amount of megapixels in 480p
A 4in (10.2cm) providing 480p resolution A 3.1 megapixel rear camera and a 0.3 megapixel front one Four gigabytes of internal memory that can be further expanded via the addition of a microSD card Support for two Sim cards at once - a popular feature in the country as it helps users obtain the best rates by switching provider when crossing states
It just kinda feels like they went too low with the price, you could get so much more for your money if you're willing to go to 150 dollars instead of 98.
It's about time something Tizen finally shown up. [editline]penis[/editline]
It just kinda feels like they went too low with the price, you could get so much more for your money if you're willing to go to 150 dollars instead of 98.
True, but it's a welcome change compared to this hunk 'o junk for the same price. [editline]But in seriousness, I would have probably liked a Firefox OS phone, but this would be much better. From a neckbeard point of view, I hope this has almost no Android code in the OS. FFOS used an Android base.[/editline]
"But I don't see it breaking through in major markets like Europe and North America. Its Achilles heel is that it doesn't have the breadth of applications and it's just not compatible with what consumers there want."
But it would be nice to at least be able to get a Tizen phone here in the States. You might not know if it's "compatible" until you try.
I'm a bit worried about Tizen replacing Android due to Samsung's greed. In their mind, why should they only make the phones? Why not make money off of the apps available on the app store?
I wish Samsung could make a decent bet on Tizen, it's underlyings are very nice and it is faster than android in theory since everything is compiled natively.
To be fair, the android ecosystem is too much of a big game for Samsung to leave. Imagine leaving all the app compatibility behind... They just need rid of touchwiz. I still see lag on my Note 4 for fuck sake, and have you seen the specs of it?
Wow, I didn't even know you could really use 0.3 megapixels..
better not go above 800x600 when viewing the photo lmfao Edit: of course i guess there's no reason to really on a front camera
Yeah because only Samsung makes Android phones right?
I never said that. Samsung taking their Galaxy line to another operating system would kill a large percentage of Android's userbase. Most people associate Android with Galaxy, just like they used to identify Android with "Droid". Samsung is big enough of a manufacturer to push their Tizen shit and get all the major applications ported in a couple months time.
