It just kinda feels like they went too low with the price, you could get so much more for your money if you're willing to go to 150 dollars instead of 98.

But it would be nice to at least be able to get a Tizen phone here in the States. You might not know if it's "compatible" until you try.
I'm a bit worried about Tizen replacing Android due to Samsung's greed. In their mind, why should they only make the phones? Why not make money off of the apps available on the app store?

To be fair, the android ecosystem is too much of a big game for Samsung to leave. Imagine leaving all the app compatibility behind... They just need rid of touchwiz. I still see lag on my Note 4 for fuck sake, and have you seen the specs of it?

I never said that. Samsung taking their Galaxy line to another operating system would kill a large percentage of Android's userbase. Most people associate Android with Galaxy, just like they used to identify Android with "Droid".
Samsung is big enough of a manufacturer to push their Tizen shit and get all the major applications ported in a couple months time.
