Namco Bandai reckons that the first episode, Crown of the Sunken King, is one of the toughest levels From Software has ever designed.
hoooooo boy this gonna be good
As long as it's tough as in the enemies are genuinely difficult, and not a quantity over quality thing.
I'm more in the line of actually difficult fights, and not cheap shots - like two huge tank enemies in a tiny corridor.
One of the enemies shown in the preview was some kind of snail with a shell made out of poison spewing statues, please god why
"Yknow what everyone hated?" "Those Poison spitting statues in the Black Gulch." "Yeah let's put like 6 of them on a beetle." "Nice."

pls just make it long, don't want another heide's incident

Dark Souls 2 pushing it's difficulty so hard is annoying the fuck out of me, as if that's the sole reason people played the previous games. It'd be like if Nintendo made a sequel to Punch-Out where the whole point was to get punched in the face.
How much will it cost? It seems really cool judging from the trailer though.

Didn't they say last year that they were going to do no DLC for DS2?
Didn't they say last year that they were going to do no DLC for DS2?
My post from the other thread about it;
No, he's right, around when Dark Souls II was announced they said they weren't going to do DLC, because they wanted to ship it as a "complete" product, but sometime after or near release they changed their stance and said that the no DLC policy would change, if players wanted DLC, and they did, so it did.
why vendrick need 3 crowns
what I'm confused about is one of the parts of the DLC is called Crown of the Old Iron King how is that going to work

That underground temple is so much like King's Field 4 it's uncanny.
As long as all the DLCs are a good length and quality (Artorias of the Abyss was amazing more like that pls) I have absolutely no problem with any of it

He had a crown before he changed. Maybe we fight him again. Or, maybe it'll be like DS: PtD. And you travel back in time and cause the Old Iron King to transform.[/sp](Spoilers)
