This problem has been plaguing me for quite some time. The video is short because they end up being 100mb+ easily. Anyways in the first video I did 2 clicks and held them, the second game I did 3 clicks and held them. The mouse I'm using is a Logitech MX Revolution. I only click once and hold it, but it clicks up to 10 times while holding it. You can tell when I click actually by the short gaps. The SMD button inside the mouse that the plastic button clicks on is worn out. It's a common failure among mice. The only way to fix it would be to replace the SMD button on the mouse PCB, but they're usually very small and if you're not proficient in SMD soldering, you would probably just further damage the mouse. The best solution is to RMA the mouse if it still has a warranty, or if not, buy a new mouse.
I've had the mouse for quite a number of years, guess it's time to retire it. My wireless keyboard came with a mouse so I guess I'm covered. Its too late (3:00 AM) to try it now but I assure you I will try it in the morning. Thanks for taking the time to help me, it means a great deal.
