'rite lads? Brace yourself...
177,000 people leave a lot of rubbish! The big clean up begins at Glastonbury (as two laughing policemen pose with a sleeping reveller who had partied a little TOO hard)
- Highlights of this year's festival included rapper Kanye West, Florence + the Machine, The Who and Lionel Richie
- Campers have until 5pm to leave Worthy Farm with crew and stall holders given a week to tidy up after themselves
- Litter picking crew of 800 have already begun to clear site of rubbish and tractors will travel across 900-acre farm
- They have back-breaking task of picking up an estimated 1,650 tonnes of waste and around 5,000 abandoned tents
- Do you know the man who partied too hard? Please email: mark.duell [at] mailonline.co.uk or call 020 3615 1838 (This is very important, make sure you do that)
If you need to email the mailonline because you know the top lad who partied too much, feel free to use my template

pretty shameful mess there, suppose it's the result of increasing commercialisation
How is it not?
because it's just an absurd connection to make

Someone has clearly played too much CSGO against Russians and therefore in a bad mood...

Probably some good pickings in there somewhere. When I went to Glastonbury a few years ago I found a brand new pair of shoes amongst the abandoned tents people had left behind, I still wear them now.
pretty shameful mess there, suppose it's the result of increasing commercialisation
No it's the result of people waking up on the day they have to leave with one of the worst hangovers/comedowns of their lives and thinking "like fuck am i taking all my shit with me"
pretty shameful mess there, suppose it's the result of increasing commercialisation

its the results of hundreds of thousands of people camping with hangovers
I've got a big red one hurr.
I've been to one of the biggest Electro Festivals this weekend were people take all sorts of drugs but since the festival has a strict emphasis on left ideas, ecology(the whole festival is vegan and CO2 neutral) there is barely any stuff left afterwards, it's 70k people.
Hell even the shitters were compost toilets.
Just saying that there IS different ways even with people getting all kinds of fucked up.
I hear about Glastonbury every year and can only assume it's a renewable source of tents.

Why do people behave like pigs

gross. Those could have had disgusting foot diseases or some shit. Eugh.
Why do people behave like pigs
Drugs / alcohol. Wake up hungover / still high, can't be arsed to take your stuff with you.
Drugs / alcohol. Wake up hungover / still high, can't be arsed to take your stuff with you.
Also add the mentality of "Oh hey, they also leave their shit behind lets just do the same".
Why do people behave like pigs
Most of the time there is just no trashcan to put your trash in and if you're lucky to find one they fill up really fast.
If I went to Glastonbury, this would be me ->
I doubt many of you would want to carry your tents, bags etc and 3 bin bags full of shit for a few miles while on a raw 3 day hangover.

I did at Reading Festival, and I'm exactly not the pinnacle of 100% effort at all times.
Why don't parks offer a reduced ticket if you stay around for half a day on Monday and help clean up? Guess enforcing it would be tough.

Disposable income, disposable electronics, disposable clothes, plenty of free time

I did, this morning at around 11am. On a horrendous comedown.
Walked an hour to the car then spent 4 hours driving.
Besides those pictures are in front of the main stage, where theres no bins so people drop cans and stuff at their feet. Personally I put empties in my rucksack and drop it into a bin when I see one. Shame the majority of people (who spend time at the main stages anyway) dont give a fuck.

That is pretty badass, please teach me the ways of being like that.

I spotted the person who has never gone to such a festival.
