i don't think it was the setting that killed CoH 2 than the kind of shitty gameplay

TBH CoH 2 was probably the most disappointing game I've played in the last 5 years, I expected way more from a sequel to a game like CoH

In fairness though the original CoH was pretty much perfect imo, so I think any sequel they'd have done would have been disappointing regardless of whatever they did.

Somewhat true but if that was the case they could have added more content - maps, playable armies, etc. I'm pretty sure the graphics got worse because it's so poorly optimized. My laptop can run the original at max settings and get great FPS but the new one I get around 20FPS.

It's the anti-aliasing. Put it on low and it'll run fine. Barely any difference too.

CoH 2 did the same mistake DoW 2 did - Took a near-perfect RTS, and made it [I]smaller[/I] in scale, instead of larger.
