Sounds good to me.
Sounds similar to the launch of skynet... :geno:
I just got a text saying the alert level has been raised to orange. Well isn't that just dandy.
Seems like this could be exploited if broken into.
I just got a text saying the alert level has been raised to orange. Well isn't that just dandy.
"You have... one... new message!" *looks* "DEFCON 1. EVERYONE LOOK FOR SHELTER. GOD HELP US."
Butterfingers, false alarm! I just happened to press the "launch satellite" button. That goddamn Nikola never succeds in being careful >_< Well, atleast the broadcasting service is stronger.
Mr Bloomberg unveiled the Personal Localized Alerting Network, or Plan, on Tuesday, explaining that the system will implemented through a special chip installed on new mobile phones.
Couldn't they have done this through sending every phone the same message through the phone companies? Many mobile phone service companies already have ways of alerting users without the need of a chip.
