Lego is quite expensive normally today. The fact this is themed on a popular game, that everybody and their grandmother knows doesn't help.
It does seem kind of, well, awful. It doesn't look like you can actually make much from a "module".

Surely with the size of lego cubes, they'd have been able to actually make the blocks look like mincraft blocks, as opposed to just plain brown for dit, grey for stone and so on. It looks totally half-assed.
Oh, not to mention that you could easily buy a copy of minecraft and have cash left over for that price.
