It begins again. You know where I've heard "This is not x game series, now it sucks" before? The new Fallout, the new Deus Ex, the new Battlefield, the new Hitman, and the new Max Payne, just to name a few. People have been wrong pretty much every time (we'll see with the new Hitman).

Guys it's a prequel/reboot. This is just after she's left college so she isn't going to be a bad ass, acrobatic, dual wielding pistols adventurer yet. This is what causes her to become that.

It seems like that's what you become by the end of this.
To be honest it just looks like a grittier version of uncharted.

And judging by the looks of the trailer this looks like a badass reboot. Imagine the Tomb Raider games they make after this.
Looks good, BUT, I can tell that there are a metric FUCK TON of those quick time events

Hopefully the game lives up to that trailer. THAT is some pacing right there.

Of course she is a crying little girl, It's an origin story. She starts off weak and scared, but grows through the hardships she is being put through.
So much potential. I'm a fan of the series, but this... if done right, this could definitely be a huge improvement.
Looking SO forward. They seem to actually acknowledge that she's hot as hell. She almost got fucking RAPED!

I largely prefer this new version of Lara, over the old bimbo she was before.

Yeah because the last Tomb Raider games were obviously the best games ever.
But really, the series has gone bad. This really looks like it will bring new life to the series and I think the whole 'make Lara seem more human' could really help with the story.
Can't wait!
