Shadownrun PC not starting

Specs:
AMD Phenom II x4 @ 3.5ghz
4Gb 800mhz PNY DDR2 RAM
Asus EAH4850 1gb
Asus M4A785D-M Pro
Windows 7 64-bit

So, here's my problem. When i installed it, it ran fine and dandy... But when i try to play it from the splash screen or direct from the executable, it just does nothing. Any more info you need i will provide. Thanks for helping

Update, it eventually runs, but an error comes up which says: Unable to initialize live for windows components

Do you have LIVE for Windows installed? That could be it.

I have the latest version installed, and fully updated. I have also tried a reinstall, and the install of the GFWL that came on the disk, and nothing

Do you use Xfire? GFWL would refuse to work for me if I had it running at launch.

No xfire, and also steam was closed when running it

I've seen some suggestions that GFWL wont auto update the game, causing the crashes. Try installing the 3 patches one after another.

I have also seen people saying that removing XLive.dll will force the game to rebuild its LIVE distro.

Same error when i try to install an update, and also there is no xlive.dll in the folder
