Fuck yeah.
Fun fact: I was listening to America, fuck yeah.
Yes!
awesome!
Good to hear this game is getting a second chance.
Thats some really good news.
Hope it won't end like the $ based MMO's, it really looked interesting
I have a good feeling about this.
Wonderful news, I missed being able to park my car on its rear bumper because of the invisible walls.
This is the worst case, gonna have to pay for shapes, cars, weapons, just everything. :saddowns:
Um, how do you even know they're planning on raping it with microsubscriptions?

APB Sold, Definitely Going Free-To-Play
APB Sold, Definitely Going Free-To-Play
Key word is Play
They didn't say you'd be able to get everything without paying.

You didn't play a whole lot of F2P MMOs, have you?
Almost every F2P MMO has microtransactions, and some of those games revolve so much around microtransactions that they can't really be called "free-to-play" to begin with, being that they're more of a huge demo than a full game.
OT:
APB was a broken, borderline unplayable mess, extremely light on content and original ideas(except for the character creation, which seems to be the only feature of the game RTW put any effort into).
K2 have a reputation for squeezing money out of their games'(War Rock, particularly) players by forcing them to buy ingame weapons with real-life money, thus giving the people who buy weapons a ridiculously unfair advantage over those who don't. Not to mention that War Rock ain't that great of a game to begin with.
Long story short, I only see an already bad game getting even worse.
They should have let it die.

Hello Sir, and welcome to "Read Stuff out of Context", if you would have read ym previous post, you would know why youre reply is really really dumb.
But it is the concept of F2P, especially at K2
Gee, he sure did read that out of context :downs:

The definition of Free-to-Play is pretty much microtransactions.

Well pardon me sir, I appear to have not noticed your first reply to the thread.
You have my apologies, and I shall proceed to shave all hair from my body as penance.
Still, the rudeness you have exhibited in your post was unnecessary at best.
After all APB survived, but most probably has to life further with a lot of terminal disseases AKA gamerfirst.
Its gonna be worth its price :smug:
I'm sorta excited, but at the same time I'm really worried. It is great that it is going F2P. But who knows what they might do to the current systems and what type of micro-transactions they will add. I would be pissed off if they made it to where you had to buy clothing and vehicle parts for customization.

That has to be the case. What else is there to sell? (Selling Weapons is a given)
