Battles in Total War are really cool but having to juggle around often up to twenty units all across the battlefield got a bit hard to manage at times. It'd be nice if there could be more 'focused' battles and give more control over each unit.

I've got no idea how they're going to integrate the MOBA element into the game though. I suppose they can have the skill tree and customisation stuff of the generals in multiplayer from Shogun 2, and each player commands a small section of one of two opposing armies (maybe one person controls the scouts, one person controls the line infantry, another controls the cavalry and so on) but it still wouldn't be a MOBA I guess.

I wouldn't mind it if it were like mentioned, players running parts of the larger army, focusing on stopping NPC enemies and other players who are doing the same while defending your team's fortress. Say you can choose your general, they all have different abilities, and you get a selection of units to use.
