Quick RAM Q: Motherboard supports 1033Hz ram, the Ram is 1600hz

Hey.

Buying a motherboard + Ram.
The motherboard has support for DDR3 2200/1333/1066/800 MHz memory modules.
The Ram I am buying is 1600hz

Will there be any issues using that ram? Did they just forget to include 1600hz in the product description? Help is appreciated.

Go to the manufacturer's webpage for the motherboard and verify there. It likely supports it, but may downclock it to 1333 speeds.

It will probably run at 1333 MHz unless you turn on XMP.
