After watching 5-or so minutes of live streaming, the connection cuts off.
Any way to stop it?
The Card is internal, no one else is connected to it and it's a hard-line.
If you have more computers in the network, does it happen there too?
Don't know, don't have another computer. Friend sometimes brings a lappy, but we play on LAN, and after playing the internet connection works.
It cuts on Live Streaming only...
You get what you pay for. Not meant in a rude way, it's a fact.
You might want to attempt to watch a live-stream on said friends laptop to determine whether it is your network card or connection.
I pay for 2mbit connection (max. dl speed is around 200kb/s). The card was already installed when bought the damn thing (computer). Unfortunately friend lives in the other side of the town and it's 15 minutes untill midnight. I'd like to get this fixed by 4 am local, to watch the SGU Premiere.
Checked that you have the newest drivers?
Tried restarting the modem?
Scanned for viruses, malware and shit clogging up the pc?
Updated, not working, restarting computer... Still not working...
Yes, gives extra 5 minutes (Damn hourglass, pretending to be 15 minutes but is 5 minutes).
Yes, nothing (used SpybotSD (updated today) and Avira AntiVir (updated today also)).

So no help anymore?
:bang:
Sometimes the external cabling to your house can be a bit iffy, it might cut out every so often because of interference. I'd call your ISP and get them to check it out. I have had problems with some bad quality network adapters not being able to handle bandwidth intensive apps, although these were wireless ones. Some types of things worked like a charm (VNC, File Sharing), some made the connection cut out for a few minutes (LAN gaming).
I'll call the ISP first thing on Monday. Damnit, now I have to watch SGU with at least 4 minute breaks after 5 minute of watching...
:crying:
That's odd... It remained intact for an hour at one point, and yet at one point not even two minutes...
Sorry, I am ddos'ing you.

Are you behind a router, btw?
Yes. And I think I have broken it some. I hear something move inside when I shake it... (used it sometimes to vent the anger)
Maybe reset your router to factory defaults. My wireless likes to cut out if I'm doing intense things through it, it's a known problem on some Intel wifi cards in Vista / 7. It's never been fixed for me. It might just be your ISP, since it is working flawlessly in the middle of the night (no traffic).
Flawlessy? I just said that at one point it lasted an hour, and soon after not even 5 minutes :|

Why would you trash your own router just to vent some anger? Buy yourself a stuffed animal or something.
Your router definitely sounds like it's been damaged. As said above, try to reset it to factory settings, and reset the whole thing (plug it out and then plug it in again).
It was the closest thing then. Don't worry, I have taken Anger Management classes.
How do I reset to Factory settings? And the latter one has been done. Still plays 'cut the connection'. I'm starting to hate that game.
