If you live even somewhere close to the New England region, you'll know what I'm fucking talking about. Looks like I got some waterfront property now That's my backyard, there's an extremely small brook back there and it has now grown to river size proportions. You should have seen it yesterday, I almost didn't have a backyard. It has been raining non-stop for the past week. I'm not even kidding, it started last Wednesday and has continued until today. Mother Nature seems to hate us New Englanders, we seem to get the shitter of all the storms in the US. My town cancelled school today because of the rain. It flooded some marshes that are by well travelled roads and flooded the roads. The downsides that come with rain are obvious. For example, one of the windows in my house is a little old and rain seeped in through it and soaked the whole walls, ceiling and floor in the room. I poked a hole in the ceiling and held a bucket and water poured out like a faucet. If you don't know why this is fucking crazy, just think of all the wood, insulation and everything else in there that has to absorb the maximum amount of water to have a small hole spout water like a faucet. Anyone else in the same boat? It fucking sucks, I want the sun back. It's supposed to be spring, not rain season.
That sucks, it's bright and sunny here in Ontario.
I want my warm weather :saddowns: edit: ITT: Bunch of basement dwellers rate me disagree because the sun burns their eyes.
I like rain. Never rains that much here tho :|
Deal with it [/scotland]
Christ. I've seen flooding like that here in Australia before, but considering that's in an urban area, sheesh, that is some nasty watah problemhs EDIT: Also I feel your pain OP. Here we're supposed to have hot summers but this year it was completely shit. Overcast most of the time.
Get used to it, it is gonna get worse kid. And if you think thats bad try living near the lake district in the UK.
Deal with it [/scotland]
Scotland ain't got nothing on northeastern US, back off son. Haha just kidding, I don't know how bad they have it in Scotland but I can't imagine the weather there is always as bad as it is here.
no, 2 days ago we had rain for a whole day stright
Yeah, 2 days ago. Now it's sunny.
That sucks, it's bright and sunny here in Ontario.
No it's not.. I like in Hamilton and it's pouring..
Dude rain is the shit
Its rainy here in Iowa :\
Gale force start at hurricane force 7. Edit: "nice try"
Actually no, compare the windspeeds of a "Gale" and a "Strong Gale" on your little scale there to the Category One and Two windspeeds of a hurricane. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tropical_cyclone_scales http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beaufort_scale EDIT: I'll do it for you "Gale - 39 to 46 MPH Stong Gale - 47 to 54 MPH" "Category One - 74 to 95MPH Category Two - 96 to 110 MPH"
It hasn't rained here in Texas for a few days. . . It snowed a few weeks ago. :snoop:
That rarely ever happens anyway.
