Scientist Discovers Formula For Perfect Pizza; Stoners Everywhere Rejoice
A mathematician in the UK has come up with a scientific formula that claims to decode the secret to making the perfect pizza pie.
The key, says Dr. Eugenia Cheng of the University of Sheffield, is the topping-to-base ratio and the thickness of the crust.
In other words, baking a pie with a crispy crust and the right balance of toppings.
pizza quality is subjective
That article is bullshit.
The prefect pizza is a stuffed crust with Canadian bacon and sausage.
Some like it thick, some like it thin.

Come to chicago and eat a pizza, and then good luck topping that experience.
Hawaiian with hot sauce bitches

Uh-oh. I sense a NY Pizza vs Chicago Pizza argument coming along...

Hallway monitor pizza?
And how exactly did they quantify how tasty the pizza was?
The best pizza will always be a new experience. Eating the same pizza over and over again, will dull your taste. Trying something new every now and again always gets me saying 'This is the best'.
Anyway, for me, any pizza will do :D
The Perfect Recipe for Pizza:
Anything called a pizza
Some people hate Domino's, I myself like it with the right toppings. Taste of something like Pizza Express is better though, but I prefer the toppings you can put on yourself on a Domino's.

Nah fuck y'all, Detroit style square pizza is the king of pizza.
Nah fuck y'all, Detroit style square pizza is the king of pizza.
AHAHAHAHAA did you really just imply square pizza is Detroit style? That's from the old country bro. Specifically Sicilian style, with your little Detroit twist on it to make it unique
What even is Detroit style Pizza? Poppy seed crust with slabs of tomato? Triple decker stuffed pizza casserole?
AHAHAHAHAA did you really just imply square pizza is Detroit style? That's from the old country bro. Specifically Sicilian style, with your little Detroit twist on it to make it unique
The terms "square pizza" and "Detroit style pizza" can be used synonymously. You don't have to be a dick about it, look it up.
Hahaha you guys with different tastes and opinions than me are all wrong, Antarctica style pizza is the best!
I don't see why this is an argument, go to someones Nonnas house, have them make pizza, and there you go, I'd like to see your pizza shops top a Nonnas pizza.
pizza quality is subjective
Um, excuse me, this is science. And science isn't subjective.
What if people were like "the level of gravity in any given area is subjective". We would never have gone to the moon.
anything with stuffed crust will be on the right track....

That sounds fucking teeeeeeeeerrible, ugh
Home made swedish pizza is where it's at
friends tell me it's the best pizza they've ever had

Yep this guy is right, a pizza made by nonna in a cookie sheet is probably what I'd opt to eat on my death bed.
How odd, I literally have just made pizza from scratch. I also made pizza last week when I was testing a new dough recipe.

I personally like it very thin, some sauce, cheese, mushrooms, spinach, basil. The best thing is these pizzas cost me 30p each.
Some like it thick, some like it thin.
Personally I like two at a time
I like Chicago because its like a big pie and I like a thin Naples pizza as well as a New York slice.
The only pizzas I don't like are thick doughy bread pizzas, feels more like loaves of bread with toppings on it.
How can you people argue over american pizzas when the glorious pizza's of Italy are by far superior

Except S'barros.
I disagree and it also is subjective, just like that other 'perfect grilled cheese sandwich' study that is mentioned in the article. You can't really say something is the perfect recipe when people have their own preferences on how they like it prepared/cooked.
If it truly was perfect then 100% of people who like pizza would prefer/enjoy it. Personally I don't really like thin pizzas, I like it when the dough is thick and bready and I always order deep pan pizzas where possible.
