The team is currently working hard on the upcoming story DLC and there currently are no plans for releasing another patch to address the issues that have been reported on the forums," a community manager said in a post on the game's official forums.
This is absolutely ridiculous.
totally didn't see that coming
-said no one ever.
Maybe their next paid dlc IS the bugfixing!

Don't you mean please don't introduce any more bugs when you release the dlc?
Bring back rocksteady please.

The new bugs are for the next dlc
it's fucking genious I tell you
wasnt deathstroke's animations directly copied from Ra's al ghul's fight in arkham city?
I beat Deadshot's ass so hard the game got sad and refused to allow me to actually finish his side story.
The game was bullshit. I got it free with my graphics card, played right up until I saw how small the explorable area was, and uninstalled it. The game crashed twice up to that point, and half the assets seemed directly copied and pasted from Arkham City. If this is the way the series is headed, I'm not about to buy any more of their games.
Considering how big the video games industry is getting now, am I the only one that believes that an entity should be formed to aid in preventing game companies from leaving their products with major bugs for extended periods of time?
Hopefully this game was just a shit cashgrab and City of Terror is actually good.

No, you should keep buying the Rocksteady ones, they actually put effort into them.
Story dlc will probably be horrible anyways.

Remember that this was Warner Bros., not Rocksteady. This is what happens when you try to take a franchise and do your own thing, much like what's happening with Zenimax and Elder Scrolls Online. I heard the 3DS game tie-in game to Origins is also pretty bland and uninspired.
Well that's fucking annoying. I still haven't been able to beat the game because I got the bug that makes the final boss fight impossible to beat, and I don't want to play the game all over again right now.
I really enjoyed the story and boss fights, but it was a buggy mess.
Yeah our car doesn't turn left, but you can just make three right turns instead. It works fine. In a couple weeks we'll be happy to sell you some new floormats though!
I was thinking of getting this but now I am not, thanks for helping me with my decision Warner Bros.
I knew this game would be a disaster when I saw that it was made by a company that had only done the wii port for Arkham City and nothing else.

Rocksteady has been working on the sequel to City for quite some time now. If Origins disappointed you, don't automatically assume every future Arkham game will.
I should mention the entire reason Origins exists is to be filler between City and the next Rocksteady game.
Origins is far from being a bad game, it has some of the best boss battles out of the franchise. But this definitely puts me off from buying anymore products from this particular development team.

That's not exactly hard given basically all of the bosses in Asylum.

Wouldn't that work for Origins' credit though? It managed to do something right that a previous game didn't?
I still liked Origins. I mean, it was more Batman, which is what I wanted. It definitely wasn't as good as asylum, and the map was pretty awful, but it did its job. I never really ran into any gamebreaking bugs, though.
That being said, Arkham Asylum is still the best of the trilogy.
I liked Origins, but really it did feel like a expansion pack or big DLC for City.

I draw a distinction between not getting something right and [sp]killing my metaphoric boner with that climax[/sp]

Whoah, dont diss Mister Freeze.
Origin only fell down in two real places
It didn't really do much to be an origin story, it just drops a fully prepared and developed batman into a terrible situation
and it totally didn't take advantage of the roster of characters it used.

Technically you're being sold a broken product, you are entitled to a refund at the least.
