What's up with Veoh? It's been loopy all day, i heard that the US Government is "taking" out websites which show movies (Not hosting, but just links to watch movies) Anyone know anything about that or an article on this subject?
Is Veoh a website? Or your dog? Or your estranged sister? Because I know of none of these. If Veoh is a website, there are such things as maintenance and downtime. If Veoh is your dog, they probably need a walk. If Veoh is your sister, it might be her "time of the month."
Maybe they're having problems with their servers? Like ModDB has a while ago? You know... downtime?

Yes, she is a website but she almost went bankrupt a few months ago but was bought out by another company fortuently. In my opinion she is better than youtube due to downloadable video's, no real limitations on what you can upload and a interesting app to manage everything from your computer.
But indeed i thank you all for attempting to answer my question, i hope it is only tempoary downtime but i inter-linked it with wha i heard earlier about the US taking out websites that arn't even hosting illegal material, just links to websites that do.
How do you people not know what Veoh is?

The US gov isn't doing that, they can't. Some legal loopholes that have and never will be patched allow streaming sites to stream anything as long as they don't host.

On Veoh you can submit videos over 10 minutes long without special permission. It's much better for shows and such.
