Pls someone tell me this is true.
"Hey we want you to work on this secret project, what do you think?" "Ok, let me just update my LinkedIn profile".
Why has Fallout 4 been so lazily announced? It seems pretty much official that they're going to be presenting it soon, but why does everyone already know?
Why has Fallout 4 been so lazily announced? Fallout 3 / New Vegas have aged worst than milk. Fallout is extremely due for a new game.
Fallout 3 / New Vegaa have aged worst than milk. I welcome a new Fallout with open arms.
Praying for a new engine, even Skyrim looks like shit without mods
Guillermo Del Toro sure is doing a lot of videogame stuff lately. Not that I'm complaining! :v:
Is there any speculation into the location of this one? Would be nice to see the New England area.
Praying for a new engine, even Skyrim looks like shit without mods
A new engine isn't necessarily going to fix beths short comings [editline]11th May 2015[/editline]
Is there any speculation into the location of this one? Would be nice to see the New England area.
Personally I would like to see some of the North Central U.S like Chicago, Wisconsin, Minnesota or maybe even Canada with a hardcore mode that borrows from frost fall.
Guillermo Del Toro sure is doing a lot of videogame stuff lately. Not that I'm complaining! :v:
Well he IS a massive nerd, you don't make a movie about giant robots and godzilla's without being a massive nerd.
If it's done by Beth it might as well save itself some dignity and not come out at all.
Oh my god I am so ready. I've started playing fallout 3 recently after about 4 years. I love the atmosphere so much.
Is there any speculation into the location of this one? Would be nice to see the New England area.
Yeah, heading into The Commonwealth would be interesting. I know there are some people that are hoping for a more northern setting (like Canada, as mentioned earlier), but iunno. Some, like J.E Sawyer, even want a Fallout game to take place during the Resource War with the UK invading the Middle East. That'd be nice as well I suppose.
Why has Fallout 4 been so lazily announced? It seems pretty much official that they're going to be presenting it soon, but why does everyone already know?
hype generator
Fallout on the skyrim engine(with a suffecient amount of mods for graphics and gameplay enhancements) still feels like a unreal wet dream to me, but if it happens... holy shit itll be the fallout version of
If it's done by Beth it might as well save itself some dignity and not come out at all.
this why do people care so much about a bethesda fallout, i'd rather not seem them glorify the series anymore
I hope they don't do a Skyrim and 80% of the "quests" are just "go into a vault filled with ghouls and then come back"
If it's done by Beth it might as well save itself some dignity and not come out at all.
On the other hand, at least we might get the upgraded gamebryo engine which is still better than the old one, so thats something, right? :v:
Really, there is nothing wrong with the engine. It is just how Bethesda uses it.
Praying for a new engine, even Skyrim looks like shit without mods
And also STILL runs like shit.
I feel like the only person who really enjoyed Fallout 3. Yeah it wasn't really a fallout but the atmosphere and world building was amazing.
Fallout on the skyrim engine
Please no
I thought they would use ID Tech 5, but it seems Todd Howard mentioned they won't
I thought Skyrim looked fantastic. I haven't seen quite a beautiful nighttime sky in video games before, and I thought they pulled off each environment really well. It's easy to see where they cut corners but the image as a whole for me made up for the low resolution textures and jagged props. Maybe I just haven't played many games.
All aboard the fucking nuclear powered hype train!
Because it's been almost 4 years since their last game
You mean almost 5? New Vegas came out in november 2010 [editline]12th May 2015[/editline]
I feel like the only person who really enjoyed Fallout 3.
"Hey we want you to work on this secret project, what do you think?" "Ok, let me just update my LinkedIn profile".
They'll likely be VFX studios because of the pre-rendered aspect, so they might be dumb enough to think "oh it's only games and nothing there is secret".
You mean almost 5? New Vegas came out in november 2010
Not just fallout, skyrim came out in 2011.
