I have some video and audio material that need to put together and right now i have only mac available, i can't find any decent software for it, the only thing i found was Final Cut Studio and it's fucking complicated as hell, isn't there any alternatives for Windows Movie Maker on Mac?
How about iMovie?
How about iMovie?
No offense Mac people but iMovie if the fucking worst program (well, worst commercial) i've EVER seen.
1. It can't do a shit compared to Movie Maker
2. It's incredibly unintuitive.
Any other ideas? I've only found 2 video editing programs for Mac, iMovie and Final Cut Studio and both are difficult to use, there have to be more programs for Mac than 2, right?
Adobe Premiere CS4? If you don't mind spending money. Also After Effects.

*slam* Why didn't think of that, thank you my friend, have a heart.
Adobe usually do good stuff.
Final cut isn't complicated at all, neither is the rest of final cut studio.

Maybe but i don't really want to learn professional program just to edit one video.

Fair enough.

If you're on snow leopard Quicktime X can do some very basic timeline editing if that's all you need.
I liked iMovie HD, it worked fine, exported into decent formats and has some decent effects. I wasn't able to figure the new one out without assistance. Luckily, I don't use Mac OS very often.
If you can use Premier Pro, you can definitely figure out how to use Final Cut in a matter of minutes.
Fine, iMovie HD? It's basically movie maker in a fancy skin and you can get it for free.
Cant speak for final cut but when I first got Vegas it was a lot more scary looking then it actually was to learn to use.

Well Premier CS4 and After Effects are both professional programs

I've noticed that Premier and Final Cut was almost the same program but somehow Premier is a lot less scarier :P
Thank you people.

So you're going to buy Adobe Premier to edit one video?
Dewd iMovie is great mang.

Yep...buying that is, for just one video.
If you only want to some video and audio together, Premiere is ridiculous overkill. It'd be a waste of money.

Rated box because of broken sarcasm meter.
Fine. No need to pirate it for doing a very simple task since there are things which can do that AND are free. Plus your attempt at sarcasm was awful.

iMovie sucks ass, read my second post here.
Actually the only Mac bundle software that don't suck is QuickTime.
Flames are coming....
P.S. I don't give a fuck about Mactards (see http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?p=18990245)
Did you try and look if it is you that is the guy who is wrong instead of everybody else?

Oops, my bad, i haven't tried HD one so i have no idea how bad/good it is, probably should try it.

Apparently iMovie HD doesn't install if you already have iLife '09 :/

ahh. . You USED to be able to get it off Apple's site but they must have stopped it now, and they must not allow you to install it over 09. You used to be able to install it over 08 though.
