blue screens for "IRQL less or equal than" and "memory management"
First I though it was the memory, so I memtest 86+ both sticks individually, and then both of them together. All tests were passed.
Then I thought it could be the operating system, re-installed a new version of windows.
Still get the same problem
Hardware specs:
i5 -750
Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2 Intel P55 MOBO
G.Skill Ripjaw 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
5870
700 watt OCZ power supply
HC50 watercooler
2 x 1tb HDD
No overclocking

Hello deamer44!
Do these blue screens happen at any specific time? And what version of windows are we talking about here?
Also if you could upload you minidump files we could analyze them and tell you whats causing the problem. To do this go to Start - > Computer - > Windows - > Minidump - > zip up all files in there and upload to speedyshare preferably. Thanks!
IRQL_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL simply means that a driver is not configured behaving normally. Make sure the drivers for all your devices are up to date.
Right, i'm having more problems. Firstly it got to the windows loading screen, then cuts out. I have reformatted to ntfs with both linux and windows and re-installed twice ( just in case it was an nfts error). It worked fine yesterday now its doing it again.
I just got this blue screen "Bad Pool header" any ideas?
How many passes did you do in MemTest86+?
2 passes for each dimm
[editline]11:15AM[/editline]
Could it be a bad hard drive?
I would suggest 5 passes minimum, 10 recommended.
The thing is there are no errors about "IRQL less or equal than" and "memory management". Windows just seems to fail to load and then goes straight back to the black startup screen
[editline]11:19AM[/editline]
It also keeps checking the c: for consistancy...
[editline]11:28AM[/editline]
I finally got on, and my 5870 driver is now a "standard vga graphics adapter" and both steam and google chrome have been deleted!

please try and do what i said in the above post we cant really help unless we have the minidump files to analyze what exactly is causing this issue.
But we can check C: do this.
Start - > Run (or if u have windows seven just type in the box) - > chkdsk - > run as admin if u have vista or 7 - > this will check C: for any errors. Considering you can boot up to at least safemode or something if not run windows repair or reformat.
[url]http://jump.fm/SOARF[/url] here is the link to my minidump, although I did just get a new motherboard and ram yesterday so ignore all mindumps before 21st of april.
Please help me :D
I'm getting IRQL_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL at the moment. i'm just assuming its drivers though, cause it seems to boot up after a few BSOD's.

please use speedyshare.

Alright I did a bug check and this is the blue screen cause that came up the most.

Your memory seems to be causing these crashes your going to need to do the following.
1. Have you updated your drivers? if not do so.
2. you say you ran memtest how many passes did u run each stick for?
3. What are you doing when these crashes occur? in this particular crash it seems Chrome.exe or google chrome is causing the BSOD. Try using a different explorer like Mozilla firefox.
4. Just because you now have updated drivers doesnt mean they are working correctly. If none of these above steps work we are going to have to run driver verifier. PLEASE NOTE MAKE SURE YOU MAKE A SYSTEM RESTORE POINT BEFORE RUNNING THE VERIFIER IF THE VERIFIER FINDS A PROBLEM IT WILL RESULT IN A BSOD! To fix the bsod boot into safemode and select system restore. after making your restore point go to start and search for driver verifier or verifier. when you do make these selections. (Create custom setting for code devs) (select individual settings from a list) check these boxes (• Special Pool
• Pool Tracking
• Force IRQL checking
• Deadlock Detection
• Security Checks (Windows 7)
• Miscellaneous Checks)
then select select drivers names from a list
sort by provider
check all boxes where MICROSOFT is not the provider
finish.
5. try running chkdsk.exe you can find it by doing run or search it if you have windows 7.
I've found the source of the problems, its windows updater! (see photo)

The thing is, surly I want these updates for system security?
what program found this as the target error?
I haven't a clue, it didn't fix the problem, still bsod's
