Does anybody know if the Acer HI.12900.002 Revision A could manage with a 80 watt Phenom II CPU, I think it could be designed by Foxconn since it says Foxconn on the bottom aswell as the acer part number. If it helps, It is a block of aluminum with cooling fins. and it was designed for an AMD cpu.
Here is a shitty picture since my Canon is in boxes somewhere and I don't have the time to develop the film in my camera. So I used a webcam :barf:

Can't even see it. Put it under a light.
Yep, I'll do that.

Are those good enough. I put it under a light and it looks a little better now. I still can't find my expensive camera :wtc:
The mount looks right.

clip thing.
Looks like it would fit, I don't know if it would cool one very well though.
I know it would fit, It was on a old AM2 board running a Brisbane 5000+. I'm just wondering if it would hold a Phenom 2 555 at a decent temp.
from what I've seen, the stock cpu coolers don't change much. Maybe throw a new fan on it, I'm sure it'll work fine, definately cool enough to not damage it before you can tell if it's running a bit too hot. Take the thing apart and rinse it, maybe.
