Yup, first thing I checked when they announced it. :v:
Not much was shown but I want it so bad.
The terrible DRM ruined Anno 2070 for me. Would be nice if they changed policy with this but I won't get my hopes up
I wasn't expecting this, but I am going to keep an eye on this.
That looks neat as fuck. I hope it has some sort of Sandbox mode too.
oooo my dick I love Anno series
Ah Anno. Having your entire society crumble because they can't get their shipment of shirts or tea.
Fuckin' love Anno
unsurprisingly, this is the only ubisoft content from e3 2015 that i care about
Can't wait to ship cancer inducing moon stones to terribly overdemanding citizens
Too bad its going to be bloated with Uplay bullshit.

while it might have been bad, it didn't ruin the game for me
and they say there will be alien tradeships like the traders in Anno 2070, and also an alien invasion event

despite being an extra layer, uplay isn't really that bad. it takes me all of 15 seconds or so to load up anno 2070

At least it's better than what Anno 2070 had.

It's certainly annoying but yeah, I never had anything life ruining about it. Just a "roll your eyes in impatience" kind of thing.
Well the reason I can't stand Uplay is that I've had so many issues with it. My internet connection is piss poor, which doesn't work well at all with Uplay. Its just incredibly annoying I'm paying so much for internet and I have to have more issues playing a game series I really enjoy.
I'm paying around $100 a month and my download speed maxes at 160 kbps. Bullshit I know. There are only two internet providers in town, one is DSL and another is cable. My house is quite a bit from the road so DSL is currently the only option. I spoke to the cable provider a few months ago about what it would take for them to dig a cable to my house and they quote me $2500+. So.... not really an option right now.
And you guys are probably right, in general Uplay isn't all that bad, but in my circumstance is down right terrible for me.
Oh sweet, I didn't know a new Anno was at E3 since no one seemed to be making a fuss about it here.
All the Anno games are pretty nice and relaxing games

It made me unable to play on my university internet until I got a VPN set up. That should never be an issue for a singleplayer game like this.

Wait no, I might be mixing that up with playing online. It's been a while

I remember playing 1404 and ending op colonizing 4-5 islands in order to supply my villagers with their needs.
Fucking entitled shits.
1404 was the best Anno game to me. 2070 had some neat changes, but the whole conflict thingy hurt the atmosphere and it didn't feel as welcoming as 1404 or the games before that.
I had hoped for a new Anno that wasn't set in the future. It would be cool if this one has a bigger emphasis on trading. Endless games with non-hostile AI lacked interaction outside of quests and a bigger trading system could change that.
