• TrueCrypt- Encrypting two HDD's

Hello gentlemen! I have a question regarding TrueCrypt. On my desktop I have two hard drives. The C drive is a 80GB SSD only used for Windows and heavy software requiring fast write/read speed. The D drive is my 1TB media & other software HDD. I want to encrypt everything, so my question is this: If I encrypt the C drive so that it requires a password to boot, and i encrypt the entire D drive as well, will I still have to mount the D drive every time I restart my PC? Or can you somehow make it so that if you enter the correct password at boot, both HDD's will be decrypted? - Regards
From the TrueCrypt FAQ
Can I configure TrueCrypt to mount automatically whenever Windows starts a non-system TrueCrypt volume that uses the same password as my system partition/drive (i.e. my pre-boot authentication password)? Yes. To do so, follow these steps: Mount the volume (to the drive letter to which you want it to be mounted every time). Right-click the mounted volume in the drive list in the main TrueCrypt window and select 'Add to System Favorites'. The System Favorites Organizer window should appear now. In this window, enable the option 'Mount system favorite volumes when Windows starts' and click OK.
