I walked into this website, I don't know if it is a troll site or not, but it is apparently a critic website made by christians and they rate movies by their 'moralness'. http://christiananswers.net/spotlight Here are some examples. Happy Feet - Offensive Let's take a look at these testimonials:
My daughter and I were anxious to see this movie from all the previews we had seen. I’d have to say that I was SO disappointed that I wanted to walk out of it. I can sum up this movie in two words: liberal agenda. Almost every liberal agenda out there is in this two hour movie. I was offended in how they portrayed the “elder” penguins shunning out Mumble and using such words as “repent.” And, of course, we had to accept that Happy Feet (aka Mumble) was “different,” and that he couldn’t “change.” There were so many hidden agendas (too many to mention here) used as the main point of the film that it made it difficult to enjoy for it’s entertainment value. The politics were so overwhelming that they even showed politicians in the “can’t we all just get along” (and too long) finale. I can say that as a Christian, we will not be watching this movie twice.

I was very upset by all of the sexual innuendo and thankful that my 2 year old daughter won’t remember those parts. The movie had great potential and some good parts, but the negative far, FAR outweigh the positive. It is a shame that they would add these things to a children’s film. I guess I should not have expected it to be any better.
Brokeback Mountain - Extremely Offensive Let's take a look at these testimonials:
DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE!! …I didn’t even get 30 minutes into it before I had to walk out. Easily one of the most offensive movies I’ve ever seen, and I’ve been watching the Oscars since I was 5. Please don’t support this abomination of film.

Positive—If your Christian principles prevent you from understanding, acknowledging and appreciating satire, parody, and humor, then please do not see this film. It is not for you. However, if you retain these qualities despite your faith, you can comfortably view this film and enjoy it for these attributes. Remember that it’s okay to laugh at things that are silly; and it’s okay to find the silliness in serious issues, so long as you don’t forget the importance of the issue. Humor is a wonderful gift that you shouldn’t take for granted; Parker and Stone simply make it their life’s work to depict the humor in our culture, satirically and ironically. Please ignore the reviewer’s comments about “Rent” w/respect to this film. The film’s parodized version “Lease” is not “an AIDS version” of Rent. What a ridiculous thing to say. What was the disease featured so prominently in Rent? Gay cancer?
Honestly, the people posting the crap like that seem to be trolls. And, Of course. one website on the internet many probably haven't heard of represents the minds of all christians. Just as how the amazing atheist portrays all atheists.
Con Air's testimonials: wow, this person sure loves uneccessary shift key pressing.
Nicolas Cage plays a wonderfully moral character, but I found myself being distracted by the huge gaps in plot, like how Cage’s wife gets from a Southern airport waiting for her husband, to a California airport talking to John Cusack, then makes it to Las Vegas in time to see the plane crash?—This is just one example. The action sequences were just one yellow explosion after another—a movie with TWO scenes of men running, while things explode behind them—wow. If you want an action thriller, see “Speed 2.” Don’t waste your money on this one. —Dennis Rupert, age 44
Didn't you just answer one of your questions about plot holes by saying "airport"
Smells of trolling. But Poe's Law is in effect - you can't tell the difference between trolls and real fundie wackos because their opinions are both equally insane.
Again, I'm a Christian yet I don't go around ranting and raving about how the world is unholy and wrong while I am supposedly superior. The people (most likely trolls, who knows though) who write these websites do not represent Christianity as a whole. I do get tired of people assuming all Christians go around acting like the most pious people on the face of the planet spouting off "thous" and "thees" every 10 seconds. People wrongly assume we all sit watching TV going, "Oh dear that's just terrible and sinful." While there are some who do that, the majority don't.
Oh god my mom reads everything on that site, goddammit.
Oh man, I love this review on Star Trek: First Contact. "As far as christian content… Umm none… But I did enjoy the movie! —Barnaby Baker, age 28"
Pick out the only negative review on happy feet. gj op.
They gave Ben-Hur an "Excellent" rating. Can't blame them.
Not nearly as bad as the PTC. http://www.parentstv.org/
Alright! A new site to laugh at!
Not nearly as bad as the PTC. http://www.parentstv.org/
And yet parents wonder why their children grow up to be a bunch of overly-sensitive people who cry the minute they see even the smallest amount of blood. Honestly, kids need at least SOME exposure to violence and the real world. You can lie to your kids and tell them nothing bad will ever happen, but it STILL does, and comes as a huge shock to them.
Not nearly as bad as the PTC. http://www.parentstv.org/
that is like the fox news of reviews
Negative—All I can say is that my wife The Hangover with a friend. She is a little naive at times to the world. Not really focusing on the movie’s title (which she had never heard of anyway), she went to comfort a friend who is going through very rough marital problems and gave no consideration, at least not at length, to the title. When she entered the house some three hours later, she was crying and extremely upset. The movie apparently has full frontal and rear male nudity in several positions, along with female top nudity. From what she explained, the movie was more NC-17 to XXX than it was ‘R’ (probably NC-17… I did see the commercial). If you take anyone, including yourself to see this movie, shame on you. We are Christians, not movie goers. It is time for us to lead by example.… My Ratings: Moral rating: Extremely Offensive —James, age 39 (USA)
:v:
:v:
Sucks being a christian for him then :v:
http://www.parentstv.org/PTC/publications/reports/animation/main.asp If you don't like adult swim then dont let your kids watch it, dumbasses.
http://objectiveministries.org/zounds/gaming.html lol
I wonder if they'll do a review of God Bless America. That movie is gold.
http://www.parentstv.org/PTC/publications/reports/animation/main.asp If you don't like adult swim then dont let your kids watch it, dumbasses.
Curiously enough their main sponsors (the site, I mean) are pharmaceutical companies, I wonder why.
http://objectiveministries.org/zounds/gaming.html lol
On portal: "Your character is forced to do this by a female-voiced computer named Gladys, who has killed all the workers at the Aperture Science facility and is now "testing" you like a lab rat." Gladys.
Con Air http://christiananswers.net/spotlight/movies/pre2000/i-conair.html This mindless movie made purely for entertainment value is apparently "very offensive"; For example, the villains have terrible perversions, which is very inappropriate for a villain.
My overall recommendation is to encourage you to skip this movie. It is extremely violent and would receive a R+ rating, if there were such a thing!
What?
http://christiananswers.net/q-eden/sexaddictiontips.html I just ended up reading into christian sex addiction. OH MAN I'M GOING TO HELL
Grasp the seriousness of this. You have been breaking a commandment of God. You have turned something beautiful (sex), into something ugly, selfish and damaging. If you are married, then you have been unfaithful to your spouse. If single, you are sinning against the dear person you may one day marry.
Wow being a christian must be pretty hard, i genuinely feel sorry for anyone out there who is. [editline]19th April 2012[/editline]
Again, I'm a Christian yet....
I feel for you bro.
http://objectiveministries.org/zounds/gaming.html lol
Oh wow:
Minecraft a cross-over hit of a Christian game that will reach the unsaved with immersive Bible lessons in its single-player campaign and ample witnessing opportunities in multiplayer.
I've found that only the really loopy Christians only go to these sort of sites. While funny, they seem to be a poor cross section of Christian society over all.
Aw they haven't made a review of Watership down? They would claim its satanic :v:
Just go to http://www.pluggedin.com/ if you want to see a relatively sane "Christian" reviews. They have segments on Sexual content, Language, violence, negative content, positive content, and a section on any spirituality in the film. In the end the reviewer give their personal opinion (usually very orientated towards the quality of the film i.e. the acting was uninspired and the story was flat) and a little on their moral beliefs pertaining to the film. It's gets about as crazy as "Besides that, the makers of The Hangover weren’t satisfied with creating just any 80-proof R-rated movie. They included brazen, 100-proof scenes of male and female nudity, plus an overdose of foul language to ensure that their finished product was as sordid and titillating as possible." for a review of the Hangover. Let's be honest, for a Christian review, that's pretty straight forward. :v:
I can't stop laughing at the gaming reviews. They review games they haven't played, and make up the stupidest shit to insult, and it's all religiously related. From what I have read about RDR, is that as it goes on, he is trying to redeem himself, and in the end he has the choice of redemption by doing good things. (I own the Zombie Disc, so I myself can only go off what I have heard, but they just blatantly look at the game and make up stupid shit about it.) These games aren't religious games, so going on about how the creators are atheists and how their ignorance makes them stupid, and that they made an abomination of a game because their ignorant atheists. They even bagged on Tetris because it was created during the Soviet Union, and they were taught bleak shit, so that MUST be why it's unwinnable.
Oh wow:
Read the one on Tetris. Its like they were high or something. And the one on MGS4. Apparently Meryl represents satan... And the Patriots, invisible organization that wants to control information and people, apparently represents the christian founders... This HAS to be satire.
