Hello, I am 17 and I am looking to get some insurance for my car. I have a g2. 2004 pontiac grand prix. AllState gives me a quote of $11,000 a year.......... I took driving school and everything. Anyone know a cheaper place? lol
Bullshit 11k/yr? are your parents claiming you? have you got into an accendent? my insurance was 85/mo at 16, now it is like 45/mo
Your best bet is to call everywhere, lots of variables decide who pays what
This might help you find the best price - http://www.kanetix.ca/
This might help you find the best price - http://www.kanetix.ca/
I used that, it said the best price for me is $11-12,000 a year.
Which province?
Ontario, Toronto
I'm in Ontario Canada and I'm with BelairDirect they quote me 2.2k a year on my own in a 98 Subaru Outback. They are probably the cheapest. I was quoted 7.5k by AllState.
Ontario, Toronto
Sorry bro, I checked with a quote checker and got $14,000. Dunno how that happens. Here in BC, we have crown insurance (Government). I'm paying $110.36/month for my 96' Chevy S10 (So around $1300/year) and after my accident, I'll be paying $176/month (Around $2100 per year)
Try Action insurrance http://actioninsurancegroup.com/get-an-insurance-quote/auto-quote Cheapest by far for me in NL at 260/month. I only get 200k liability though, you should call and talk to someone too. Online quotes aren't always the best.
200k should cover all medical and the entire car of the other person shouldnt it? I cant remember the value of CAD to USD.
200k can be risky if you get in a severe accident. In the case of a crippling injury or death, a lump sum of a massive amount may be awarded (to cover wages lost, future medical care, etc). I pay the extra per month to get $2,000,000 of coverage. It's worth paying extra per month to save me the risk of being fucked over for life. The driving company I learned with, DriveWise, insures all their cars for $50,000,000 each. Also, I don't know how you americans don't know this, but the canadian/american dollar are around equal. I believe it's $1.03 CAD = $1 USD right now.
