• Recording a PS3 with only one HDMI cable.

Hello. I have a computer screen, not a TV, but a computer screen that I use for my PS3. I use HDMI to display my PS3, and I would like to record my gameplay. My screen only has one HDMI input, however. So how would I do that? It also has DVI, but I am not sure that it will be able to record a 1080p resolution. Now, I have no experience with recording consoles, so is there anyone who are willing to help?
You would need to connect the PS3 to an HDMI capture card. Although, I'm not sure how well that would work since the PS3 uses HDCP (maybe someone who has done video capture on a PS3 can enlighten us). You might be better off using component or composite cables and doing it through analog. Either way, your going to need a capture card.
I think you just get a card like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815100049 And hdmi from ps3 to the input, then another hdmi to from the cards output to the screen.
