That's right, Scale The motherfuckin' Summit.
Q: What is Scale The Summit?
A: Scale The Summit is an instrumental metal band from Houston, Texas, USA.
Q: Oh, another instrumental prog wankery band. Great.
A: But oh kind sir! Scale The Summit are more about melody than solos and complex rhythms and shit. Give me your lunch money.
Take a listen:

Monument (2007, self-released)
This album is somewhat more technically-oriented than their latter releases, and the band admits that they didn't really know what they were doing on this album and didn't know what direction to go.

They're on iTunes too, look 'em up!
I'll update once the new album is released.
Very excited about the new album, Carving Desert Canyons was awesome
Didn't know they had another album other than Carvin Desert Canyons :v:
These guys are really good.
Even moreso when you learn that their average age is only 22.
Didn't like Monuments too much, but Carving Desert Canyons is pretty nice
Dont't care for the drums though, they could lose allot of unneccesary double bass drum. It doesn't give much when it's not in the same rhythm as the bass/rhythm guitar.
Carving Desert Canyons has really amazing guitaring.
It's great.

Glacial Planet sounds nice, thanks OP.

I just picked up the album Carving Desert Canyons :iia:
Talked to these guys after I saw them live :buddy:
