I've heard from multiple atheists that it is a very good book as a story. Genesis got the most praise, next is Revelation. It SOUNDS cool, especially Revelation. should I pick it up?

Ehh some of it gets really boring. You can TL;DR most of the Old testament and you only have to read the first and last gospels. Song of Solomon is good, both of the Solomon books are.

I've read about a hundred pages, it's boring in many parts so... that's kinda why i didn't finish it.
I find that it is a good book for giving people morals (except the ones that are outdated and cause discrimination), but other than that not really. I haven't read it all, and I don't expect many other people to have, but for RE class I sometimes do some research by flicking through it and finding relevant quotes, and I do find it intriguing. Not too much with the stories though, because I either find them too long or just a story with a moral that we all already know.
Is it possible to buy just Genesis and Revelation separately?

This is my problem with Christians. They say to live by the Bible, but when someone brings up a bad part of it, they say "OH WELL JUST IGNORE THAT IT'S OUTDATED."
The parts I liked were the Job one and the armageddon with the angels of doom.
