• 2-Year-Old U.S. Boy Assaulted, Called a ‘Faggot’ for Wearing Mom’s Pink Headband
In the eyes of all two year olds, their parents are not just their heroes but essentially their everything. Though they would imitate their parents every action and behaviour, it does not necessarily automatically mean that it's the be-all and end-all of it. Such as the case of a two-year-old boy from Florida who seems to dote on everything his mother wears. Yes, even pink headbands. To most people, this would look cute. But not to a man who lost his cool and demeanor over a toddler who was wearing pink headbands. Kaite Vyktoriah of Polk County, Fla happened to bring her son Dexter and two other children to Walmart to buy some much needed stuff. Then, perhaps bored, little Dexter later took his fancy on his mom's pink headband and wore it on his head.
http://au.ibtimes.com/articles/497056/20130806/u-s-faggot-pink.htm#.Ug1Ca5LvvYM
what the fuck, i expected some playground tussles or something but a grown-ass man got super pissed about the colour pink and yelled at a child
And to think that, not long ago, pink was associated to boys and baby blue associated to girls.
I heard about this a week or two ago. The description of the man should have been enough for the mother to be a little more protective of his approach.
After she happily responded "he's a boy," a man within earshot suddenly roared "THAT'S a BOY?!" Katie describes the patron as "very large with a bushy beard and a camouflage shirt with the arms cut off." His lace-up work boots had no laces, and "the fug of cigarette smoke" and "pong of beer" surrounded him. Katie replied affirmatively, prompting the man to rip the headband off Dexter and, after lightly slapping the boy on his head, tell him "you'll thank me later, little man." Her maternal instincts kicking in, Katie moved in front of Dexter to shield him, before telling the man "If you touch my son again, I will cut your damn hands off." To which he responded: "Your son is a fucking faggot. He'll get shot for it one day." Katie notes that, despite an abundance of eyewitnesses, not one shopper volunteered support or consolation.
Posted on August 5th: http://gawker.com/florida-man-rips-pink-headband-off-2-year-old-boy-call-1029024463

This entire story is fake. The woman made it up for her blog.
“Now removed from her site claims included having survived 3 failed kidnapping attempts and 1 successful one; claiming to be a stewardess for an airline and quitting just weeks before the flight crashed twice in three months; that she was “meant to be in NYC on 9/11, but I cancelled last minute”; that she missed catching a train that later crashed… Other claims include suffering from Celiac disease, diabetes, lactose intolerance, BPD, manic depression, ADHD, and apparently her breasts are so spectacular they cause bar fights.”
[editline]15th August 2013[/editline] She also requested that Huffington Post take it down. So far no evidence has surfaced to corroborate her story.
