I wanted some opinions on how i can improve my piano play and my recording sound. I play on a Roland EXR-5S and most of the songs i have learned to play using youtube tutorials. I tried recording with my webcam ,but the sound quality isn`t as good as i want it to be. I know there`s a lot of professional recording hardware out there ,but i`d like to work with what i have since im short on cash. Opinions are welcome and sorry for playing wrong some places.(4) I recorded all the songs in one go and didn`t bother doing it again just because of a few mistakes. Did you record from your kitchen? You need to work on your timing because it is pretty off in some places. I wouldn't say that you have bad timing because you're generally pretty on time, but there are a lot of spots where you are off. The easiest way to fix this is to play constantly with a metronome. With solo piano work you really have to have strong timing.

Use a metronome to practice, so that it sticks in your head.

Start practicing with a metronome and be sure that you are holding the longer notes for the their whole length. If you don't think that you need to practice with a metronome or that it would inhibit the the free flow of the song then you don't want to face the fact that your timing isn't that strong.
