• Why God Doesn't Exist

This thread isn't to bash Christians or simply rant. This is my opinion on Christianity, which I have based purely on the facts that I have seen in the Bible. I know the Bible inside and out because I attended church for 16 years and attended a private Christian school for 10 years. 1. The Fall of Satan First some background information for those of you who don't know the story. Lucifer (Satan) used to be an angel. However Satan wanted to be God, not serve him. Once God found out that Satan wanted to dethrone him he cast Satan out of heaven into the lake of fire (Hell). There are 3 problems with this. First the most significant problem: There is no sin in heaven. According to the Bible and Christian faith, heaven is a perfect and divine place without sin, however Satan was able to sin in heaven thusly contradicting itself. The second problem is that according to the Bible God is all knowing. This being said he would have known Satan would try to dethrone him way before the creation of Satan. Yet again contradicting itself. And lastly, God created Satan, and Satan is sin. Therefore God created sin. 2. The Power of Prayer I'm assuming everyone knows how prayer works, but if not I'll give some background information. People pray for there needs, wants, and wishes to God. If it is "God's Will" then you're prayers will be answered. This can easily be tested. How you may ask? The good old Scientific Method. I think you'll find the results rather conclusive. 3. God's Will God's Will is exactly what it says, the will of God. According to the Bible God's Will is everything that happens, and is always 'for the greater good.' So, time to expose the hypocritical portion of that statement.Generally speaking as a whole Christians are against: Abortion, Gay Marriage, Murder, Pedophilia, ect, as many people are. HOWEVER (here's where they are hypocrites) ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE EVERYTHING IS GOD'S WILL [/cruise control]. That being said, so is abortion, gay marriage, murder, pedophilia, ect. They pick and choose what they consider to be God's Will and brand it as such. This is wrong. 4. Oh No He's Dead! Nevermind. People die all the time and come back to life due to modern advances in technology and medicine. What do they see for the few seconds in death you ask? Nothing. They don't remember a single thing, because for that short 30 or so seconds they didn't exist. There was no heaven or hell for them. I have nothing against Christians, in fact I admire them. I wish I could have assurance and faith about the after life, but I don't. P.S. I don't believe in evolution either. So because there are a few contradictions in the mistranslated KJV Bible (comparing the supposed original text with the new one there are multiple differences) means that there is no God or Higher Power in life? [sarchasm]Great logic.[/sarchasm] Use that for evolution then; there are countless cotradictions between scientists in it at times, so that must mean evolution doesn't exist according to your logic.
Oh lawdy lawds, relijun
Religion is just a huge hoax created to control ignorant masses. Now look where we are today! Still in war because of it. Great stuff, that religion.
Haha Religion

I said I don't believe in evolution. And not a few contradictions, the very foundation of the Cristian faith.
Do people even believe that bullshit.

And I don't remember there being any cotradictions in Evolutionary theory...
Religion is silly.
Yes please read OP. I said I don't believe in evolution. And not a few contradictions, the very foundation of the Cristian faith.
Oh, well then you're pretty dumb. A shame. There was promise in you.
hahaha your beliefs hahahaha
I don't spend half the day yelling at people for their beliefs, jesus is chill, get fucked
christianity is a good story nothing more it's about as weird as ctulthuism or lovecraftism or anything else where people worship a book/author twilightism
Satan isn't even in the bible, he is a made up creature that isn't referenced in the old book.
This thread isn't to bash Christians, just to disprove their most important belief!! Flame war is imminent. Edit: Flame war has begun.
I don't spend half the day yelling at people for their beliefs, jesus is chill, get fucked
Except when he was a huge tight ass who supported thought crime.
Another fucking religion thread.... ever notice that every single one of them gets closed
You cannot prove that god does or does not exist. Your belief or lack thereof is a matter of faith. That being said, nice to know your story, OP...
1. The Fall of Satan
I still believe that there is more than between heaven and earth.
Oh, well then you're pretty dumb. A shame. There was promise in you.
lol. I have nothing against Christianity, or Evolution. All I will say about it is Evolution is still a scientific theory and not a scientific fact for a reason. It simply cannot be proven at this time. That being said, say hello to Mr. Hadron Collider. We'll see what the future holds.
They don't remember a single thing, because for that short 30 or so seconds they didn't exist. There was no heaven or hell for them.
What are you talking about? Theirs plenty of people that reported seeing things after they supposedly "died" whether its just an illusion generated by the brain from some kind of chemical reaction thingmabob I don't know.
When i saw the title i thought of this:
We all know the bible contradicts itself.
lol. I have nothing against Christianity, or Evolution. All I will say about it is Evolution is still a scientific theory and not a scientific fact for a reason. There has to be something after death, darkness, nah. I would just go insane, and probably die again. Since everything has a beggining, and nobody knows what the end looks like.
What are you talking about? Theirs plenty of people that reported seeing things after they supposedly "died" whether its just an illusion generated by the brain from some kind of chemical reaction thingmabob I don't know.
True, but all of them that I've ever seen we're Christians to begin with.
What are you talking about? Theirs plenty of people that reported seeing things after they supposedly "died" whether its just an illusion generated by the brain from some kind of chemical reaction thingmabob I don't know.
Those are hallucinations generated by a lack of blood flow to the brain. The same thing is caused in those rotary chambers where they test rocket pilots, as the blood is forced out of the brain by the gees.
Oh, well then you're pretty dumb. A shame. There was promise in you.
Well it's good to know people who don't live up to your standards can understand that Christianity's a fraud.
