• Kaspersky - Steam False Positive?

I was bored the other day, and decided to download a tiny game on steam, some demo of a game called Hammerfight. When it was downloaded and all, i opened it, as it was getting its way in, i got smacked in the head by some Kaspersky warning, saying that that game had file in it that could be a potential keylogger. I got alittle worried and shat bricks. Is there any chance of this being a Keylogger, or just a False/Positive?
it's kaspersky, it wouldn't know a virus if it was given a dictionary, google and free lessons in indentifying viruses
some games... like ARMA II .. Use "keyloggers" to know what keys you are pushing. Lame if you ask me. [editline]08:24PM[/editline] It would actually be Good for you if the game really has a virus. Because then you can sue steam for a shitload of money.

A long time ago, when the game was free, my Avast detected it.
it's kaspersky, it wouldn't know a virus if it was given a dictionary, google and free lessons in indentifying viruses
Wrong!
Wrong!
Wrong! The only good non-free AV is NOD32.
Don't be stupid. Black-Bird has no clue what he is talking about. If anything, the game probably hooks your keyboard to more easily get keypresses. I wouldn't call it a "keylogger". Why don't you try getting a real virus scanner.
Hey dumbshit. When ever I run ARMA II and ARMA II only it always says "Arma.exe is attempting to track keystrokes" The anti virus thinks it is a keylogger so It warns me. I accept because I know arma II is a game and not a keylogger.

Don't worry, my kaspersky thinks borderlands is a keylogger. :v:...
I'm wondering why people acknowledge kaspersky is a pile of dogshite then continue to use it as per above post
I have a one year Norton license, Norton was removed two days after it was installed. Free though, got it as part of a combo deal with my OS, so It's nothing to complain about.
I'm wondering why people acknowledge kaspersky is a pile of dogshite then continue to use it as per above post
I get the key for free from my bank. So far it's kept me safer than avast! to be honest.
