A voice resembling that of Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland reportedly refers to the EU using a graphic swear word. The US said Ms Nuland had "apologised for these reported comments". The audio also reveals a frank exchange about America's strategy on how to work with Ukraine's main opposition leaders. The tape appeared on YouTube after Russia had accused Washington of meddling in Ukraine.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-26072281 Yeah? Well, as a resident of the EU, fuck you Nuland.
The tape appeared on YouTube after Russia had accused Washington of meddling in Ukraine.
While I was initially kinda pissed off about the remark in the recording and stuff; Russia, should shut the FUCK up about others meddling with Ukraine, seriously, if there's anybody in no place to talk about that stuff, it's Russia.
they really aren't very good at keeping stuff like this secret
The US said Ms Nuland had "apologised for these reported comments".
Ok? So what, this means absolutely nothing, she obviously meant what she said and saying that she "apologized" for the comments is nothing more than her/them trying to save face. Fuck all of them honestly, they're all corrupt.

Someone accuses someone of meddling with something they should not, and then it turns out the accusing party is also dirty. It's always stupid. Everyone meddles with everything. Everyone should just stop with the accusations. If only to save themselves from embarrassment.
they really need to do a better job of not saying things like this.
I'm sure they could go a little out of their way to not say such incendiary remarks.
they really need to do a better job at keeping stuff like this a secret.
even though you're right, she needs to be professional when working as a diplomat - this is clearly unsettling to everyone
Ok?
they're all corrupt.
I'm not sure you justify how "they're all corrupt". That's a pretty big blanket statement. As for the "influencing the Ukrainian government" thing, everyone does it. Russia sure as hell does it. Thats power politics, or realpolitik, nations with more power try to influence nations with less power. Its happened for a very long time and it'll happen far in the future.
In the context of the conversation, if you listen to it, I think that the diplomat was not saying "fuck the EU" in general, but more in the context of getting assistance in conflict resolution. She was talking about seeking assistance from the UN, but "fuck the EU" because they haven't been helpful thus far and probably won't be in the future with the resolution of the conflict in Ukraine. So, I don't see much of a problem with what she said. People are only angry with the way she said it. In context, however, "fuck the EU" meant "don't bother with going to the EU for help."
What's the problem? This girl has an opinion, problem?
